DESCRIPTION:

The FTE UNIVERSAL WHIP provides greater practicality and speed when converting your vehicle. It was designed for vehicles with electric front-wheel drive or rear-wheel drive that use the FT450 or FT550* VCUs in conjunction with the FTE WEG 23, FTE WEG 43, FTE WEG 130 Powertrains and other peripherals.

Featuring specific features such as relays and fuses for key post activation, brake and reverse light, water pump, signal to enable the BMS, connections for the accelerator sensor (TPS), serial port for communication with the inverter and bus CAN (FT450/FT550*, BMS, frequency inverter, on-board charger, etc.).

And to make the best use of your FT450/FT550* VCU, this harness has configurable inputs for sensors such as electric motor temperature, vehicle speed and brake pressure, as well as an extra input connector for using even more sensors.

This harness has two models with the same characteristics and electrical connections, one aimed at vehicles with an engine box at the front (FRONT) and the other for boxes located at the rear of the vehicle (REAR). An electric motor, frequency inverter, water and vacuum pumps, cooling fan, as well as sensors in general are installed in the engine compartment. On the opposite side, there are the traction battery, BMS and the contactors for activating the high voltage line.

• The harness has most of the connections, to adapt to a greater number of projects, it has an extra input connector that allows customization by connecting other sensors or buttons. The harness also comes with counter parts for the front and rear circular connectors with wires and terminals already connected to ensure greater ease when completing the installation.
